Our clients approached us to design their first family home with baby on the way! This site required the demolition of our clients family home, and she was dividing the site with her sister who had appointed an architect to design her house.
So our project ebgan and was informed by looking at the design in progress for next door, and we designed an individual house, that also harmonizes with it sibling neighbour! Much of the focus during design was on optimizing hours of direct sunlight during the day, morning to evening, and setting up bright and useful outdoor space for evening bbqs, kids play areas, balanced with privacy and so on
