Giving cottage views hidden for 250 years

Working with our clients family to respectfully and inventively bring new life to this 250 year old cottage. Around the cottage were the most stunning untapped views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick mountain (The Reek). The design brings together the client aspirations, the integrity of the original cottage, upgrading to modern comfort and performance, and being open to reading the site and its natural environment – and making the architecture respond to this.
